About

The idea for Teacher9 came to me one day when my wife came home from an inservice day. She told me that she learned a lot when she was able to spend time with her colleagues and discuss teaching issues and lesson plans. Having grown up with the internet at my fingertips, I knew that there was no reason she couldn't do this everyday.

I built this site primarily for my wife. She came home from an in-service day and said that she wished she had a way to interact with other teachers.

The site allowed teachers to share their lesson plans and events that they had planned. They were able to add tags to each lesson plan and interact with eachother in forums and through their profiles.
